Levin to Be Interim Ways and Means Panel Chairman (Update1)
March 4 (Bloomberg) — Michigan Representative Sander Levin , a union-backed lawmaker who has pushed higher taxes on private-equity firm executives, will become acting chairman of the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee after Representative Charles Rangel ’s departure.
